And when the "new" wears off, we can always have fun with the box. We could probably have done all the birthday shopping at the local Wal-Mart dumpster!

What is it about a simple cardboard box that brings so much joy? It almost causes you to wonder just what our children would be capable of if we would stop shoving videos and technological gadgets at them and just let their imaginations develop. Turn off the electricity and GO OUTSIDE!! (Okay, temporary soap box now put away.)

BIRTHDAYS!!

Well, today was a big day. We woke up and went to a Saturday class that Susie and I are in called gospel-centered parenting. After class we returned home by 12:30 to prepare for Anna Graces 4th birthday party which was supposed to be at 1:00. Actually we showed up and my sister had everythng ready! Happy Birthday Anna!!!!

And we figured that since Jacob just turned one we should probably give him a little something too. We don't have a baby any more. Happy Birthday big boy!!
