My beautiful ball of energy

I have been amazed at the gentleness and softness of expression that this little dynamo has expressed towards her new baby sister. Since coming home from the hospital on Saturday, Anna has held "her" new baby at least twice as much as Daddy has been able to. She has fed her more often that I have. Now if I can just get her to do diapers.

Gummies
Chocolate donut with sprinkles.

Um..... maybe I am beginning to see where some of here energy is coming from. This may turn out to be a helpful discovery considering the fact that I have two weeks left before final exams. Maybe I should try to finish on a sugar high.

My angel

This woman amazes me. First of all, she has been married to me for eight years. That alone deserves a medal. And on top of that she has given me six beautiful children. She has bravely carried and brought all six into the world. She has also walked with me as we have said goodbye to two of those precious gifts. So here we are again, welcoming another amazing life that she has carried and cared for over these past months. As we approach graduation I have no idea where we are going. The Lord seems to be playing His cards close to the vest in that regard. But this much I do know. No matter where I end up, I have an angel with unparalleled reservoirs of wisdom, depth and strength who will be there standing beside me. Regardless of geography, wherever this woman is, I will be home. Thank you Suz. I love you. And thank you God for showing your grace to me in the gift of this incredible individual.

More baby pics

You know your family is too big when..........

Jacob is such a ham. He can't seem to say "Cheese" without having the whole squint thing going on. Oh wait.... ham....cheese..... I've got to go make Carmen's lunch for school tomorrow.

The proud (and sacrificial) grandparents. They are here for a couple of weeks to help out. Retirement must be pretty cool.

And here she is!

Emilia (Emi) Renee Tucker made her appearance at 10:04 Tuesday morning. All 8 lbs 4 ozs and 21 inches of her. Susie and Emi are doing great.
Get ready girlie. You've got a lotta' momma's ready to take care of you whether you want it or not!

Jacob still can't quite figure out why we would do this to him. Oh well, at least he gets some good hang out time with Papa while everybody else is going gaga over the new little distraction.
