Alabama fun

There's nothing quite like jumping in puddles after a refreshing rain. And seeing as how this was in South Alabama, you enjoy whatever rain you can get.

Hanging out at the Summit in B'ham.

We just finished eating with Uncle Kyle and Ms. Amber and were walking around looking cute.

Good stewards of God's creation

While we were playing in our back yard, we came upon this little robin that had fallen from its nest and injured itself. Now in south Alabama we would have simply taken this as an opportunity to save two or three bucks on a can of cat food. But, seeing as we don't own a cat and the fact that Anna Grace (our resident animal lover) would have given me a beat down, we made this little nest for the injured guy and began to try and figure out what to do.

Fortunatly for me there is a wild bird rehab place (who knew those existed!?) less than 10 minutes from our house. If not I would be asking you guys what to do with an injured bird instead of relating the story.
We all loaded up and took our little rescue case to the ER. (Yes they actually have a little room marked "Emergency Room".)
On the way home we were able to talk about the instructions God had given to Adam about having dominion over creation and how "having dominion" meant, in part, watching over all those creatures He made.
You know, some days I really like this Dad thing.

Yes, I live in a nut house.

You know, sometimes pictures don't really need words.
Here are a few that summarize well what it is like to live in the Tucker household.
